      Research Data Deposit (RDD) is a non-profit medical research data deposit platform. It is free of charge for researchers to upload data onto RDD.

      All registrations and submissionson RDD should be completed in English.

4. Research dataformats
      We recommend researchers use the following data formats. If you have used any other data formats not mentioned below, please specify the corresponding software name when uploading the data files.

      For figures such as charts, graphs, or other visuals etc., these files must be uploaded using a high-quality resolution to ensure visibility,
     -     Colour, 300d.p.i. minimum;
     -     Grayscale, 600d.p.i. minimum for blots and black & white photographs
     -     Line charts, 1200d.p.i. minimum for graphs and illustrations.
     Figures that do not meet the above-mentioned standards will not be approved by the RDD management committee.

5. Compulsory requirements for research data and related documents

      (1) For Clinical/Epidemiological studies or those studies with human-beings as subjects, the research dataset must include one of the following variables: subject’s identity card number, hospital admission number, outpatient number, image number, or pathology number. In the dataset, subjects’ identity card number should be named as “ID_no”, hospital admission number should be named as “Admission_no”, outpatient number should be named as “Outpatient_no”, image number should be named as “Image_no”, and pathology number should be named as pathology_no.

     Besides,for the survival data, the dataset should also involve all dates that used to calculate subjects’ survival time of all time-related outcomes.For multicenter clinical study, the dataset should also involve the center number,and named it as “center_no” in the dataset.

       (2) For Basic/Experimental studies, at least one copy (PDF format) of the raw data recording the key finding(s) for each figure should be uploaded. If the paper-to-be published contains 7 figures, then a minimum of 7 pages of the notebook or readout (PDF format) recording the key raw data corresponding to each individual figure should be uploaded.       The basic / experimental / translational studies that involve human-beings as subjects should also submit the corresponding dataset, and the human subject-related dataset must involve at least one of the following variables: subjects’ identity card number, hospital admission number, or outpatient number. In the dataset, subjects’ identity card number should be denominated as “ID_no”, hospital admission number should be denominated as “Admission_no”, and outpatient number should be denominated as “Outpatient_no”.
